Take Action toward your goal.

PDCA Graphic

There is a double meaning in the title above.  Th video is about Doing to make changes in your life.  But there is also the issue of taking action in mine.  I have been discouraged with the videos produced to date both from my screen impact and copywrite infringement issues when I added music to the travel videos.  I am taking my own advice and moving on.  Apparently there is no way to legally add music tracks to videos without actually purchasing the rights.  I’d always assumed that so long as I give credit that I am helping them by promoting their products.  Not so, apparently so on to plan B.  The only thing to be done with my screen presence is to make enough bad videos that I get better and hope that visitors will have enough patience in the meantime.  As I keep insisting, I will never make another video as bad as this one.

I’m planning a whole series of videos on the PDCA Cycle (Plan, Do, Check, Adjust).  It is a very good tool for any activity and changing your life style is one of the best activities your can pursue.  We all need a kick in the rear from time to time because even when we know what to do, something holds us back from actually doing it.  Don’t let inaction keep you from your goals.  Do something right now that will move your closer.  Maybe it’s watching this video.

Ralph….that wasn’t a bad video! Actually, I was impressed. Visually, you portrayed yourself in a nice composition, with the fanning Guava plant pointing to your face. Your white hair and choice of shirt, made you stand out, while complimenting and not over powering the background color scheme. So as a “Video” I found it quit well produced.
You may not be thrilled with your presentation, but it is difficult to just preform in front of camera, with no audience if doing motivational speaking.
I found have put a Boom-Box blasting in the background, but would draw the line at a green chalk-board:)
    Hansi’s last Blog Post ..Hmmmm

      Hansi,
Thank you so much for the encouragement. I thought the outside might be an improvement but I didn’t anticipate the plane flying over. I’m going to keep doing them. Practice has to provide improvement.
