Nothing to brag about this month. Returning visitors are the same as last month and all the other stats are down. If there is anything positive, it is that returning visitors did not drop even though all the other stats did. The optomistic interpretation of these stats is that my marketing activity has fallen off. Fewer comments on other blogs and a suggestion that my SEO is not effective. No ambitious goals for May. I want to see more page loads and first time visitors and to convert some of these into returning visitors.

The most encouraging change is that my post describing a new vision for RCB and beginning to tell my story in a new about page both showed up as popular. The car posts remain popular and I will use the new Trails plugin to tie them to other related posts and encourage visitors to move to other areas of the blog. The plan is to try and engage visitors from SEO on cars and buildings into other areas and to continue the story development and focus for my target audience of baby boomers.
