What’s in my garden?

King Arthur

Not much blooming in the garden just now.  The camellias are finished and most everything else is dormant.  We had some serious cold (close to freezing counts as serious cold in these parts) but my orchids (cymbidiums) seem fine.  I haven’t had much luck getting them to bloom up here in the Northern California foorhills but one hardy plant has come through for me.  The others look healthy, surviving extremes that they weren’t designed to experience:  the near freezing conditions from two weeks aga and the over 100 degree scorchers we get in the summer.  It’s been four years and I hope I am getting better at growing them here.  At least they are surviving.

I am giving them one more year.
